Rules & Guidelines

A. Participant Requirements

  • Participants must be active students in a Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor's (S1) program, from public or private universities, in Indonesia or abroad.
  • Participants must prove their student status by uploading a scan of a valid Student ID Card (KTM) or an Active Student Certificate from their faculty/university during registration.
  • Participants found to have falsified their identity or student status will be unilaterally disqualified by the committee.

B. Team Rules

  • This competition is team-based. Each team must consist of 2 to 3 students.
  • Each team must appoint one Team Leader, with the rest as Team Members.
  • Members may come from different study programs or faculties, but must all be from the same university.
  • Each individual may only be registered in one team across the whole competition.
  • Each team is strongly encouraged to have one Supervising Lecturer from their home institution to guide the development of their work.

C. Innovation Work Rules

  • The proposed work must be a Digital Creative Technology solution (Web, Mobile, IoT, or other relevant technology) focused on solving a problem tied to one or more SDG pillars.
  • The work must be original (not plagiarized), must not infringe on anyone's copyright, and must not have been published commercially before.
  • The submitted work must never have placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in any other national or international competition.
  • The work must not contain SARA (ethnic/religious/racial/inter-group) content, pornography, violence, or anything contrary to applicable norms and law.
  • Intellectual property of the work remains fully with the participants; however, the committee may publish descriptions or videos of the work (crediting the creator) for promotion and documentation.

D. Language Rules

  • As an international competition, the Innovation Poster and Presentation Video must use English.
  • The final-round presentation (Live Pitching) will also be conducted in English before the panel of judges.

Disqualification

The committee may disqualify a team at any time for a documented reason (e.g. falsified identity, plagiarism). The decision and reason are logged and communicated to the team. Decisions by the judges and committee are final.
